Ingredients

1 cup Prawns……deveined and freshly cleaned

1 medium sized onion paste

1 small tomato pureed

2 green chillies slit length wise

3-4 tsp oil

1 tsp red chilli pwd

pinch of turmeric

salt to taste

1 tsp garam-masala

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1/2 cup thick coconut-milk

some water

curry leaves

coriander leaves

Method

In a pan add the cleaned prawns and cook till the prawns form into circles and all the water from the prawns evaporates…….then keep aside

Take another cooking pan and add oil to it……let it heat and add green chillies,onion paste and cook till the onions turn light brown…..then,,add pureed tomato and cook till the oil oozes out of the gravy……add curry leaves

Add prawns and then…. add some salt,turmeric,red chilli pwd and cook for 5 mts…..now,add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute…..by this time the curry starts sticking to the vessel so add 3-4 tsp water to avoid stickiness…..

Add garam-masala and mix well…..when the gravy is thickening add coconut milk and cook till the gravy thickens…..check the salt and garnish with coriander leaves…..

goes gr8 with rice,roti………hmmmm u can jus eat the prawns tooo 🙂
