Coconut Kova

Ingredients

1 coconut

sugar 11/2 glass

milk 3 glasses

ghee 1/2 glass

cashews as required

elaichi 5no

raisins as required

Method

Grate the coconut and keep aside…..

In a cooking pan add 3 glass milk and boil till there remains only one glass of milk…..

In an other pan add sugar,some water and boil till u observe the thick string consistency…….now,add grated coconut ,cashews,raisins,elaichi powder,ghee and mix well…..it starts sticking to the vessel and when you observe any air bubbles coming out add the milk and mix well…..

now, apply ghee to a plate and pour the kova into the plate……cut it into slices and serve 🙂

note: dont worry if the kova is very thick that you cant even mix it……sprinkle some milk over the kova so that it becomes loose ….. then pour it into a plate , cut it into pieces and serve 🙂
