Aratikaya Vepudu

Ingredients

1 Green Plaintain(aratikaya) cubed(chop the plaintain and store in some water or else they turn black)

1 onion finely chopped

1 green chilli finely chopped

pinch of turmeric

salt to taste

1 tsp red chilli pwd

1 tsp garam masala

curry leaves

3-4 tsp oil

Method

Heat a pan and add oil to it……once it is hot add green chilli,onions and fry till the onions turn light brown……now,add cubed plaintain and mix well…..and some salt and cook on closed lid for 5mts…..keep stirring for every minute ¬†or else the curry sticks to the vessel….

now,add turmeric,red chilli,curry leaves,garam masala and mix well……cook the curry till the plaintain(aratikaya) is soft to touch….check the salt and switch off the stove…..

serve hot with rice,ghee…roti….
