Ingredients

1 cup urad dal (minapappu)

1 cup sugar

1/4th cup roasted chana dal(vepina senagapappu)

less than 1/4th cup raw rice(rice quantity should be half of roasted chana dal qty)

ghee as required

Method

Blend the sugar into fine powder and keep aside

In a frying  pan add urad dal and fry till it changes its colour to light brown on sim flame…..keep aside….it takes sometime to change its colour ……so be patient 🙂

To the same pan add roasted chana dal and fry till it changes to light brown……and keep aside

Now,add rice to the same pan…..after some time rice starts bulging and also changes its colour to light brown….then switch off the stove….

let all the three ingredients(uraddal,rice,chanadal) cool…….then blend all the three ingredients together and prepare into a powder…..once it is done sieve the flour once again and use the fine powder

In a bowl add the sugar powder to the uraddal-rice-chanadal powder and mix well……slowly add the melted ghee to the mixture and using hands,roll into balls…..add more ghee if you want……

store tight in a container…..these balls stays for months…
